Kinkeliba — an officially recognised African medicinal plant

Combretum micranthum G. Don, known as Kinkeliba, Seh-haw or Quinquéliba, is a shrub of the Sahelian zones particularly common in Chad. Its leaves have been listed in the French pharmacopoeia since 1937 — a rare official recognition for an African plant — and in the African pharmacopoeia since 1985.

Its leaves have an exceptionally rich phytochemical composition: 155 scientifically identified organic compounds, including flavonoids, catechins, tannins, polyphenols, alkaloids and terpenoids. Catechins are among the most powerful natural antioxidants, and Kinkeliba leaves are recognised as one of the highest antioxidant sources among African plant infusions.

TchadAgriSourcing sources Kinkeliba directly in Chad, with on-site quality control and moisture ≤ 12%. Available as whole dried leaves or powder, and as seeds. COA provided with every order.
